Learning Outcomes – Machine Learning & Generative AI Course

By the end of this 12-week course, students will be able to:

• Understand the core concepts of machine learning and generative AI

• Build and evaluate machine learning models using Python, pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn

• Apply prompt engineering techniques, including zero-shot and few-shot prompting

• Use OpenAI API to create custom AI tools and interactive applications

• Develop AI-powered agents using LangChain and chain-of-thought logic

• Recognize and address ethical considerations in AI, such as bias and hallucinations

• Analyze datasets, extract insights, and prepare data for machine learning tasks

• Complete and present a capstone project demonstrating real-world AI skills

• Strengthen problem-solving, algorithmic thinking, and Python programming skills
